Take Control Of Your SCADA Protocol Setup With TELUS
Interfacing diverse products into a SCADA network can be a technically demanding process for engineers.
NOJA Power makes this task easier by allowing the end-user to configure all aspects of interface timings and protocol mappings through TELUS. These tools are supplied free with every OSM recloser.
TELUS allows detailed configuration of all interfaces including RS485, RS232, Radios and Modems. The user can set a wide range of timing parameters and port settings to allow successful communications with virtually any device. An engineer can quickly solve most timing, delay, addressing and other problems when interfacing the OSM recloser into an existing SCADA network.
The OSM recloser is supplied with MODBUS and DNP3 protocols as standard. DNP3 point mappings can be edited within TELUS using an easy to use graphical interface. Users can turn individual points on and off, set deadbands, change DNP IDs and a point's class as required. All this is completely configurable by the user.
The ability to configure all aspects of communications and protection setup using TELUS makes the OSM recloser extremely flexible. An electrical utility can be sure of a successful integration into existing infrastructure no matter what the situation.
