The OSM automatic circuit reclosers are designed for use on overhead distribution lines, distribution substation applications and Smart Grid applications.

The product has been fully tested to comply with the requirements of ANSI C37.60 and utilizes vacuum interrupters encased in a polycarbonate housing inside a powder coated stainless steel tank to provide a fully insulated and solid di-electric system. This unique and patented fully insulated system allows us to produce the smallest and lightest auto recloser available in the market today.
The RC control and communications cubicle is a micro processor based control that incorporates the protection data logging and communications function in a single micro processor. Functionality includes:
- Directional overcurrent protection
- Directional earth fault protection
- Directional sensitive earth fault protection
- Undervoltage protection
- Cold load pick up
- Inrush restraint
- Voltage reclosing control which allows the customer to program loop automation functionality
- Separate event logs for close open operations & fault protection operations
- Instantaneous Voltage, Current and Power metering
- Load profile data
- Integral RTU providing DNP3 and Modbus protocols as standard combined with our ability to provide and engineer other protocols on request.

OSM15
Automatic Circuit Recloser

The OSM15 automatic circuit reclosers are designed for use on overhead distribution lines as well as distribution substation applications for voltage classes up to 15kV.
The product incorporates Rogowski sensors to measure current on all 3 phases and capacitively coupled voltage transformers to measure voltage on all 6 bushings with the inbuilt ability to measure voltage on all 6 bushing. Advance automation algorithms are provided standard to achieve Smart Grid functionality.
The RC01 control and communications cubicle provides extensive protection, data logging and remote control functionality including full directional protection for overcurrent, earth fault and sensitive earth fault, under voltage, under frequency and auto reclosing functionality standard.
An inbuilt RTU provides remote control functionality using DNP3, Modbus or IEC communications protocols.

The RC10 control and communications cubicle provides extensive protection, data logging and remote control functionality including full directional protection for overcurrent, earth fault and sensitive earth fault, over and under voltage, over and under frequency and auto reclosing functionality standard.
